This beautiful Delft plate by Royal Sphinx, Holland features an intricately hand-painted blue and white hunting scene. This gorgeous wall decor depicts a hunting scene with hunters upon horses and their dogs hunting a deer. In a tranquil natural setting surrounded by lush vegetation. The craftsmanship is evident in the meticulous detailing and traditional Delftware design. The rim of the plate is decorated with the famous Delft Blue floral patterns. A mass of leaves and flowers surround the circle and Delfts. The quality and detail is tremendous. Stamped with the Royal Sphinx Maastricht Delfts logo on rear. Delft Blue on faint greenish white background. Two holes on back rim for hanging on the wall. Vintage item from circa 1960’s. In 1969 the Royal Sphinx company was purchased by Boch.
