John Chisnall was born in Carshalton, Surrey in 1943 where he spent the first twenty years of his life. He had a very successful career in the public sector, managing the design and construction of a wide range of buildings and civil engineering structures for the government estate. The professional experience gained in this field has given him extensive knowledge of many of the subjects he now explores in his paintings. He developed his interest in painting and drawing in parallel with his primary career until, gradually, these activities gained more importance and in 1992 he left public service in order to spend more time painting. John Chisnall has painted in various media throughout his life and now works mainly in watercolour, finding this medium well suited to catching both the atmosphere and the detail of a place. Largely self taught, although he did spend three years at Sutton School of Art studying life drawing, his paintings are direct celebrations of visual pleasures and ignore the darker sides of modern life. Exhibiting extensively in galleries throughout the UK, he has had six one-man shows in the last 15 years and has illustrated several books on local villages and parishes in Surrey. His pictures are held in collections as far-a-field as the USA and Australia. He is also a regular cartoonist with several magazines. H: 72cm W: 84cm D: 1cm

Condition is excellent. On January 2nd, 1911, Kandinsky and other members of the Neue Kunstlervereinigung Munchen, attended a concert featuring works by Arnold Schoenberg. This painting is reality in dissolution, but still present with the grand piano, audience shapes, yellow representing irrepressible vitality and colours and sound going together. This was the first painting that he made after the concert and the word 'impression' referred to paintings that reproduced a direct expression of an internal nature. This picture is not the particular concert he heard, but his overall impression of the music performance however the central image of the painting is the black angular block representing the piano, so this particular concert is at the heart of the picture. It floats on a yellow sound. The listeners, shown as circles and arcs, are covered in the sound but at the same time are focussing on the piano. During the years 1927 until 1935, Picasso was besotted by Marie Therese. For him, she had a very arresting face with a Grecian profile and he adored her blonde hair, so she became not only his muse but a great model. This high quality edition was published on acid-free calcium carbonate-buffered stock paper, mould-made from 100% cotton and printed with light fast inks. Picasso did not like musical instruments particularly, and nor did he play one. Yet despite this distaste, instruments, and in particular the guitar which became a favourite cipher, are among his most regular subjects. By the beginning of the 20th century the apparently faithful recording Jens of photography made realist painting feel redundant to many artists. Searching for a new methodology Picasso and Georges Braque experimented with a means of translating what they saw into a unique and personal visual language. They combined what became the Cubist movement with a shift away from the usual subjects of traditional Salon paintings such as landscapes and elevated portraiture to simple still lifes redolent of daily life. By restricting the eye to a group of objects, Picasso and Braque embarked on a tightly focused dialogue together. These still lifes, with flourishes of words and newsprint and often reusing objects such as: a stringed instrument, a glass, or a spoon, were fresh on Picasso's mind when, he moved beyond the Neoclassicism of the post-war 'rappel a l'ordre' and began to reinvent his Cubist style. As he returned repeatedly to the guitar as a subject, certain elements shift and start to take on a life of their own. This painting gives a glimpse of the next phase of Picasso's ever-changing genius, with the composition presenting an inherent sense of playfulness in their manipulation of the object. This notion was explored increasingly in the mid 1920s and later as the artist began to explore surrealism more intently, and evolved the extraordinary sequence of near metamorphic bathers. Keeping the facial features of the original magazine cover, Dali metamorphosed the portrait into a coastal landscape using overpainting techniques. The title translates to 'Mysterious Mouth Appearing Behind My Nurse's Back'. Alluding to his childhood memories, the painting depicts Dali himself as a boy, with his nurse Llucia on a Catalonian beach. Giuliano Trombini was born in Tresigallo on 9 January 1953. He exhibits for the first time in 1970. His works are chosen to illustrate books and novels. After various researches between surrealism and symbolism, in the mid-80s the cycle "the Carnival of Venice" begins, which he presents in numerous personal exhibitions in various Italian Art Galleries. In the 90s his research continued with the cycle "Homage to Modigliani" and "Figures of waiting" which he created in the last period. Giuliano Trombini presented numerous personal exhibitions, in addition to participation in the National Fairs of: Bologna, Padua, Milan, Vicenza, Palermo, Reggio Emilia, and International Fairs of: Nice, Melbourne, Ghent, Budapest, Geneva. His works are found in public and private collections. Numerous art catalogues, art magazines and newspapers have written about his painting. H: 120cm W: 90cm D: 4cm

All this explains the marginal role of the human figure in his painting: it is a simple presence, a shadow, a spectrum consumed by time, a time that chases incessantly, climbing to the top of dizzying and monumental skyscrapers. 9892 - This rare limited edition of "Le Pont Japonais" by Claude Monet has been limited to only 50 pieces worldwide of which this is number 49. It has been mounted and framed to a high standard in a hand made frame. Supplied with a certificate of authenticity, signed by the Master Printer. Monet's water garden at Giverny, France was decorated with a small wooden arched bridge that spans the end of the pool, he named it Japanese Bridge. Although he never went to Japan, Monet, like many of his contemporaries, was fascinated by the country of the rising sun. Monet painted a series of 45 paintings depicting the Japanese Bridge. The bridge appears for the first time in a work of January 1895, eighteen months after the decree dated 24 July 1893 authorizing its construction. In Le Pont Japonais the bridge merges into the bank which is full of beautiful reeds and is surrounded by weeping willows. The water-lilies on the pond and the reflections are painted by a complex web of expressive gestural brushstrokes. The scene is predominantly green-yellow, with bursts of red and purple. Because of Monets fascination with water, reflections, light, and the atmosphere that they all created, he tried hard to grasp it in his art. It was an experiment in capturing nature, and the Impressionists were very interested in experimenting. He was trying to grasp the effects of nature with paint and canvas, and he accomplished it.
