The frieze is similarly inlaid, and the table is raised on twin octagonal pedestal bases, each panelled and decorated with matching inlaid motifs. This type of work was produced in Northern India, particularly in Hoshiarpur and Rajasthan, where the Mughal tradition of inlaid furniture continued into the 20th century, often for export to the West. Condition Report The table is in good overall condition, remaining structurally sound and fit for use.
