Running for five weeks between 21st August to September 17th 2015 was Banksy’s Dismaland at Western-Super-Mare. Auctioning a Banksy collectors Dismaland merchandise and memorabilia collected from Banksy’s Bemusement Park. Purchased items and cardboard ‘Free art’ which was found spread around Dismaland INCLUDED – A ‘Dismaland’ – A Disney ‘Mickey Mouse’ hand by DMS - purchased from the gift shop and unopened, some were scatter bombed around the park. This was a limited Edition - Mickey Mouse hand,’ Titled Dead Dismal by dismal Hand, there where other things such as ‘fishfinger in a bag’ and ‘I’m an Imbercile’ balloon. The ‘Banksy’ 32 x 20 cm cardboard art – To the front ’NOLA', spray art, signed ‘Banksy is Dismal’ to the reverse with the Dismaland Bemusement Park stamp. Inscribed with Enjoy your Free Art, dated 2015 and with number edition 3/15. To paint PURE EVIL the brand, a cherry picker was used to reach the underside of the carriageway to advertise his now Trade Mark brand PURE EVIL. Knowing that there was a possibility that some of his inaugural and early Graffiti work would be painted over Charles immediately created 20 stencil, and hand-painted twenty faithful copies of the original. Each piece signed with the PURE EVIL trade mark moniker and Titled ‘Study for the Westway’. And, comes with a COA from the renowned Brandler Gallery. The Westway is a 2.5-mile (4 km) elevated dual carriageway section of the A40 trunk road in West London running from Paddington in the east to North Kensington in the west. It connects the London Inner Ring Road to the West London suburbs. Other ARTISTS work the Westway and the Westway has featured in songs by several British rock bands. Local group Hawkwind played several free benefit and charity concerts underneath the motorway Charles Uzzell-Edwards produces Pop-inspired prints and street art under the moniker Pure Evil. About the Art and Artist ‘Dead Rebels’ is an awe inspiring captivating believable and moving satire of The Sex Pistols, SID VICIOUS, ELVIS PRESLEY and JIMI HENDRIX trilogy of screenprints from POW in 2006. Nick Walker is a formative member of the graffiti art movement in 1980s Bristol, England. He is an established graffiti artist and had a great amount of influence on artists such as Banksy. His work is extensively published by Black Rat Publishing. His paintings often feature a gentleman called “vandal” with a bowler hat, which featured in a video by The Black Eyed Peas. Walker’s signature “vandal” figure, an alter-ego who consistently appears in a black suit and bowler hat, is representative of the artist’s desire to imbue his detailed pieces with irony and humour. Walker’s paintings now sell for large sums of money. In 2006 a spray painted work titled “Moona Lisa” sold for an unexpected £54,000 at Bonhams in London. At a solo exhibition at London’s Black Rat Gallery in 2008, £750,000 worth of art sold. Besides, there were dozens of people camping overnight in front of the gallery. Walker was a major participant in the 2011 See No Evil event in Bristol, where he painted “perhaps the most striking piece at the event”. One of his gentleman with bowler hat on the side of a tower block in Nelson Street. Walker still lives in Bristol and is best known for merging freehand work with stencilled imagery. The bottle has the well-known blue and white Tesco value label. The neck of the bottle is stuffed with a burning cloth. The label reads "Petrol Bomb." By choosing Tesco supermarkets’ own-brand of beer bottle and its basic no-bones packaging. Banksy’s painting speaks to a bread-line culture of austerity and welfare. Banksy designed and released Tesco Petrol Bomb at Bristol's Anarchist Bookfair where this was purchased in a show of support for those who were arrested during the 2011 Bristol riots. People were protesting the new Tesco Express that opened in the Stokes Croft area. The protests became violent and people were arrested as reported on the national news. Banksy produced several prints for sale and donated the profits to those who need to pay for legal assistance. People were able to buy the posters exclusively at Bristol's Anarchist Bookfair days after the riots broke out. Tesco Petrol Bomb is also a symbol of the supermarket expansion. Supermarkets are detrimental to free markets as local shops are getting wiped out. Artist Tracey Emin, recently described as someone who "could not think her way out of a paper bag", has designed the invitations to the launch of the new digital channel BBC Four. To promote its cultural channel. Emin was commissioned by the BBC to create a gift to accompany the VIP invitation to the launch party of BBC Four. Recipients will be invited to the launch party, which will take place in a former rug factory in east London on 28 February. The invitations took the form of a small brown cardboard box containing a card, with the Emin-designed handkerchief tied round it. On it, Emin has written: "BBC Four: Everybody needs a place to think." The invitation card says: "Please bring this invite with you otherwise you're not going to get in, love Tracey."
