Description – The Last Supper is a signed offset print in colours produced by Damien Hirst. Printed to the front and Verso. Published by Paul Stolper and Other Criteria, London. The print, made in 2005, shows a world map, printed using six different colours. On this map, Hirst labels the thirteen nuclear capable countries. Instead of labelling the countries with their names, Hirst sardonically names them after Jesus and his disciples. The background of the map is dark black, as opposed to the light blue conventionally used to depict the sea on traditional world maps. The countries are rendered in bold red, yellow and purple, giving the map a sinister feel. The references to Jesus and his disciples reflect how, in The Last Supper, Hirst is able to combine religion, war, and death in one print. Published by Paul Stolper and Other Criteria, London. Jackie Kennedy (1929-94), born Jacqueline Lee Bouvier, later Jackie Onassis, worked as a photographer before marrying ambitious Democratic politician JFK in 1953. She became the nation’s most celebrated First Lady when Kennedy was elected US president in 1961. On November 21 1963 she was with Kennedy in an open car crossing Dealey Plaza in Dallas when the shots were fired that changed America’s sense of itself, breeding paranoia and countless conspiracy theories. Pure Evil is the moniker for Welsh born Street artist, Charles Uzzell-Edwards, who studied fashion and graphics in London. Not far from Banksy's home town of Bristol and billed as the ‘UKs Most Disappointing Visitor Attraction’. Running for five weeks between 21st August to September 17th 2015 was Banksy’s Dismaland at Western-Super-Mare. Auctioning a Banksy collectors Dismaland merchandise and memorabilia collected from Banksy’s Bemusement Park. Purchased items and cardboard ‘Free art’ which was found spread around Dismaland. INCLUDED – ‘Snorting Copper’ on card ‘free art’ from Dismaland. Banksy's ‘Snorting Copper’ stencil art first appeared on London's East End in Shoreditch, 2005 on toilet block wall. A ‘Dismalhand’ – A Disney ‘Mickey Mouse’ hand by DMS - purchased from the gift shop and unopened, some were scatter bombed around the park. This was a limited Edition - Mickey Mouse hand,’ Titled Dead Dismal by dismal Hand, there where other things such as ‘fishfinger in a bag’ and ‘I’m an Imbercile’ balloon by David Shrigley In good stored condition and a good example of Banksy card art. About the ART and the ARTIST: First known for his chalk drawings in the New York City subway, Keith Haring gained international recognition after a solo exhibition at Tony Shafrazi Gallery in 1982. He continued to draw in the subways. Haring compared the Pop Shop to a Bookstore shop, he added it was his "version of fast food or fast art.'' In addition to Haring's memorabilia, he also sold a few items by other artists. Haring's friend and mentor Andy Warhol was "a big supporter" of the Pop Shop. World wide About the Artists and the ART Gilbert Prousch, sometimes referred to as Gilbert Proesch (born 17 September 1943 in San Martin de Tor, Italy), and George Passmore (born 8 January 1942 in Plymouth), are two artists who work together as the collaborative art duo Gilbert & George. They are known for their distinctive and highly formal appearance and manner in performance art, and also for their brightly coloured graphic-style photo-based artworks.
